Beltrami County Road 39 is detoured for the summer of 2010:

In Cass Lake at the intersection of Hwy 371 and Hwy 2, go west 1.8 miles, take a right onto Cass County Rd 75, which turns into Beltrami County Rd 8. (You’ll be heading north). Go 6.9 miles, take a right onto Beltrami County Rd 27, go 2.0 miles, take a left onto Beltrami County Rd 12 and 27. Go 0.5 miles and take a right onto Beltrami County Rd 27. Go 4.1 miles and take a right onto Beltrami County Rd 20/ Birchmont Beach Rd NE. Proceed 8.8 miles, take a left onto Pimushe Trail NE.

From Bemidji:

At the intersection of US Hwy 71 and State Hwy 197 (which is the stop light by the Chevrolet Dealer, airport runway, Wal-Mart and Best Western Hotel) go North on US Hwy 71 for 4.4 miles. Take a right onto Glidden Road/Beltrami County Rd 59. Go 0.7 miles, take a left onto Beltrami County Rd 21, go 0.3 miles, take a right onto Beltrami County Rd 20/Birchmont Beach Rd NE. Proceed 16.0 miles and take a left onto Pimushe Trail NE.
